Question by : I’m looking for a picturesque place in europe with lots of trees but not too isolated….ANY IDEAS?
I want to visit a place in europe preferably,with lots of beautiful natural views,trees,flowers…I don’t want it to be too isolated though cause I’d like to be in touch with other people to….I’ve been to wageningen in netherlands which was wonderful but I was thinking about something souther…Florence perhaps?

How about the Ardenne Forest area of Southeast Belgium. Certainly lots of trees but also some nice villages or small towns to base yourself in. I like the town of Arlon and if you need something bigger then you can pop over the border to Luxembourg.

Many local folk have chalets in the woods as weekend retreats but then can be rented via local estate agents.
