What is proper etiquette concerning flowers for prom?
I’m a high school senior (girl), who is in the process of planning for prom. In Hawaii, it is custom to give your date a maile lei instead of a boutineer. However, the leis are seasonal and tend to be pricey. Is it acceptable to give your date a nice, artificial lei (cheaper, but still good quality) instead of a real one?

Where can I find artificial plants?
I’m looking to buy a large amount of artificial flowers, specifically white roses, for my prom. I mean hundreds of fake flowers. Does anyone know where I can find a lot for a relatively low price. I’m also looking for several hundred feet of fake ivy garland. Any help would be great. Thanks!
