ball python?
quick question about the tank setup i kno perty much everything i need i just wanted to kno would it be a bad idea to put fake plants in tank my mom uses them for around the house… but she has alot that she doesnt use and would look wonderfull in tank just need to kno are there special artificial plants you need to buy to put in tank?

Fancy guppies, dammit help please?
Alright, so the story goes like this; my fishes have all died in this one tank while we were gone for holiday, when left my dad’s friend to watch all of them. Anyways, My parents decided to get female and male fancy guppies, but they’ve never bred or taken on such responsibilities so they’ve left the fishes to eat the poor fry’s.. I decided to take the responsibility of taking care of them and make sure they won’t get eaten and monitor the mum closely.
The gravid spot near the anal is rather dark now and I really don’t know what to do, We only have one tank and my parents are too damn irresponsible to care for them, no they’re not busy my mom stays home all day and my dad could care less.
We can’t afford another tank since there’s no room to place it and my parents won’t allow me to buy a lot of artificial plants for the fry’s to hide in.. and after birth, I’m going to have to separate the fry’s from carrying on the sperm til they mature.. possibly another tank? another heater? dammit..
What should I do? Am I being too paranoid or.. what?
I love animals and I can’t just stand by and let them get eaten like that, I know in the wild and everything.. but they also have more room to hide and stuff..
