having silk rose bridal bouquets?

Question by fitgirl: acquiring silk rose bridal bouquets?
I am considering of performing silk red rose bouquests for my bridesmaids and I would have true roses for mine. Would that appear tacky or would men and women not notice? I just do not want to spend $ a hundred each for each of theirs. But I want it to appear quite formal and nice. What would you do?

Bridal bouquet – silk or fresh?

Question by Annie: Bridal bouquet – silk or fresh?
I am helping my sister plan her wedding. We are trying to decide which is better, fresh flowers versus silk flowers. I know most brides probably opt for fresh flowers, but some of the silk flower bouquets on the internet look so pretty. Any advice or preferences?

You can do both, the silk can be what she carries down the aisle and the fresh can be the small bouquet that she throws away. Then she use the silk as a keepsake or as part of a display in her china cabinet, etc.
