How to Care For Tetra Fish?
I’ve been wanting a saltwater aquarium, but decided to start out with a freshwater aquarium. I’ve chosen tetras. What size aquarium will I need? Do tetras need a heater? What kind of filter do you recomend? Are aquarium hoods sold with the tank, or do I have to buy them seperately? What substrate should I use? What do tetras eat? Should the aquarium plants be artificial or real? Any advice on tetras is appreciated.

tetras are omnivores so they need spirulina in their diets. they won’t eat plants. heres a link on tetra care, breeding, etc

I would get a 10-30 gallon tabk for tetras.
Yes tetras need a heater they’re tropical fish.
I would get a whisper or aqua tech.
Sometimes.

Vary their diet by including frozen or freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex worms and other small worms, mosquito larvae and daphnia. Always remember to thaw frozen foods before feeding. Also fish flakes.
Artifical Plants less work and tetras are carnivores so they do not care for plants.
